Download slay the day away10/5/2023 I may not be able to stop what I am doing and meditate in the traditional way, but it quickly can change the space from negative to positive. Whenever I feel anxious, rushed or just in my head, I put my go-to meditation music on. You may be thinking, oh sure, meditate while packing lunches? Well, you definitely can, but in a different way than you normally would meditate. Go with what feels right for you but make sure it is healthy. It provides me with the energy I need to slay the day without the afternoon crash. Your body needs nourishment to accomplish things in life, so why not start each day with something nutritional? I gave up coffee after having my first child over 4 years ago and replaced it with warm lemon-honey water with a dash of cinnamon. Imagine how different your day could go with some deep breathing. You deserve those four deep breaths so take them. I do not allow myself to think about anything else other than inhaling and exhaling. 3) Take a few deep breathsīefore my feet hit the ground running, I take four deep breaths, fully concentrating on each breath. If you have an obnoxious alarm or ringtone, your day is going to automatically start off in a negative space and it’s already doomed before it began. I cannot stress enough how important this one is. 2) Change the ringtone on your alarm clock Get ahead of your day and think your day into motion. In waking up a few minutes early, you can set your intention for the day by positively visualizing how the day is going to go. That is a hard one to hear because who in their right mind wants to get up 10 minutes earlier? But trust me, it is a must to successfully conquer your day.
